Golf Performance
My goal and passion is to help you become the best golfer that you can be. Ever since my first round of golf with my Grandfather, I have been hooked. Since that time, some of my fondest memories with him, my Dad, cousins and my closest friends have been had on the golf course.
When I was in high school, I suffered a back injury while trying to swing too hard and playing a second or third consecutive day of 27+ holes. I practically lived on the golf course when I was young, but I had to take over a month off after I hurt my back. I introduce this to highlight the fact that I know what it is like to not be able to play due to injury. In fact, that was one of the drivers (no pun intended) of becoming a physical therapist.
When I learned about the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI), I knew that I had found the path to helping golfers like myself. TPI has conducted extensive research to create screening and treatment tools that allow us to understand how your movement impacts your golf swing.
After a thorough biomechanical evaluation using the TPI screen and physical therapy evaluative testing, we can develop a plan that will enhance your strength, flexibility, and movement strategies. This is important if you are injured, have a history of being injured, or want to reduce your risk going forward.
For others, you might not be experiencing pain, but want to improve your performance. I can help there too! When we optimize how you move, improve your strength, flexibility, balance and power, you will be able to get the most out of your swing.
Have questions or want to know if a TPI screen could be right for you? Give me call, let's talk about your goals!
