Orthopedic and Sports Injuries
Whether you are a weekend warrior or competitive athlete, helping to get you back to doing what you love to do as fast as possible is the goal of physical therapy.
First, we need to identify the cause of the injury. Sometimes this comes in the form of loss of flexibility, strength, or coordination of a movement pattern. Other times we need to look at how and/or how much you are training. This can come in the form of too much, or not enough volume to certain structures. Still other cases it is looking at lifting technique, running form, or simply how you are walking.
After we address the cause of the issue, we can better assist in eliminating pain and returning you to doing what you love to do! This is by no means a comprehensive list, but some of the more common injuries that we treat in physical therapy.
- Tennis/Golfers elbow
- Shoulder pain and rotator cuff injuries
- Achilles Tendonitis
- Plantar Fasciitis
- Patella Tendonitis
- Hip pain
- Femoral Acetabular Impingement (FAI)
- Ankle sprains
- Nerve injuries
- ACL/MCL/LCL sprains/tears
- Meniscus Tears
- And the list (unfortunately) goes on...
