What We Treat
I have specialized in working with several subsets of patients. My primary specialization is outpatient orthopedics with a focus on golfers, runners, and chronic neck/back pain. Over the past 5 years I have also worked with a high volume of joint replacements and rotator cuff repairs. I have gained extensive experience in guiding these individuals from pre-operative physical therapy all the way to returning to being a weekend warrior, hiking, gardening, or playing with grandchildren.
The other passion I have is helping individuals who have balance or strength issues be able to continue to live in their homes. One of the initial drivers for me becoming a physical therapist was watching my grandparents struggle to be able to live in their own home as they aged, and just how important this was to them. I love being able to make a difference in someone's life who can barely get out of a chair, to the point where they are walking around outdoors again!
